i wouldn't get them.. buy the mdr-v6's.. they are half the price and basically as good.. only thing i like better about the v700's is that the ear pads are made of like a vinyl/rubber thing instead of just regular padding so they won't EVER flake.. but that can be fixed on the v6's as discussed in other threads. i own the v6's and i am absolutely satisfied.. my friend has the v700's and his are fucked up already and he's only had them about 8months.. the soddered connections to the input jack are all messed up so i guess they aren't good w/ wear and tear. well just my .02 for you to think about.
