Finally, GNR will be bringing their Chinese Democracy World Tour to Toronto. Tickets go on sale Today at Noon.
A part of me really wants to go and relive my Teenage Years. I've heard really positive things about the new album. Slash has even gone on the record to say its impresive and not to count out a reunion between him and Axel.

haha...I went to the G'n'R/Metallica show (Use Your Illusion tour?) at the Ex when I was in high school...good times.
if people look beneath the surface...look at the lyrics of some songs and the imagery Axl used...there's a depth and commentary there that most people didn't really see or acknowelge at the time (myself included).
Definitely one of the best bands of their time...I'm mildly curious to hear what they're doing now...but can't really imagine attending a concert like that anymore.

I want to go.
Axl is a genius, and there is a method to his madness.

i was at the first chinese Democrasy tour with Mix Master Mike and other band who i didn't like too much... such a good show. tho no beer in the bowl, and liquor service cut off at 9 pm, and GNR being an hour late was piss off
definatly would go see them again
bucketheads solo was unreal

This is a band with only 2 original members (axl rose and dizzy reed) from GNR.the rest are subs. so you've got Axl and abunch of scrubs.
It's like calling Roger Waters's band Pink Floyd. yeah. right.
yeah and Axl rose is so interesting in concert.

Axel will always be GNR to me......the rest is just a band....any old rocker can be put behind Axel and the band will sound the same.

I agree slash was a huge part of GNR....shit I use to have my hair like his but the reality is there are hundreds of guitarists out there that can play as well as he can. Axel has or at least had a very unique singing voice.....it was the way he sang that got me hooked.

You really think Slash is that 'mediocre' in the world of guitarists though? Ok, he's no Clapton or G.E. Smith, but...
it is all about Axl though...just like Queen kind of suck whenever they try to have someone take Freddie Mercury's place (George Michael was alright, but it's just not the same)
