No, that sample is not quite what I'm talking about... in this example there is still a build to release, where as the Dubby Mix the build creates tension that hangs and doesn't give any closure; you're sure there's going to be a facemelting bass drop and instead in kicks a little two-step riff. I don't know, maybe I'm a just in house puberty, but the sort of tracks I'm talking about have a much different resolution to massive builds than Deepdish - Say Hello (Angello & Ingrosso Rmx) for example-- it's much more subtle resolution that tears you up inside with tension on the dancefloor.
