whats with people calling black guys "brother"

this is one thing that kinda annoys me, just coz im black doesnt mean that its ok for people to call me brother.

can anyone enlighten me on why they feel the need to call black men "brother"??????????

Whatever. I don't know why they call you brother, maybe that's what they're used of hearing/seeing.

First it's the N word, now brother.

I call nearly every guy that I know "brother" at one point or another.
