Looking for a good gamepad controller (preferably USB) for a computer. Not too pricey though. Also, can they be used with emulators?

most gamepads are all usb nowadays. just about any one will work, and yes they all work with emulators. whatever looks comfortable to you i guess. logitech and microsoft makes a good controller. you could buy an xbox360 controller, they work with pc's.

I have the PS2 controler hooked up to my computer, however i hear that X360 one is much better, so you should go for that one (the one with the wire, wireless one doesnt work with PCs)

Thats how I have things setup. Its a USB adapter that has 2 ports for pluging in 2 PS2 controllers or PSOne controllers if you choose. They work nicely with emulators.
