You could give it a go...The funny thing is when I installed 1.2.4, I got loads of pops and crackles and the sounds were going out of tune all the time.
I had my Delta 66 on 128 buffer size. I increased this to 384 and everything was OK. The strange thing is that I have version 1.2.3 on 128 buffer size and it was OK
Try taking off Drivers and Virus Control before installing new version.

I just had the same thing happen. The firmware updater for this is only installing 1.2.3 on the TI. I have never had a problem installing until this version.
Is anyone else here using Windows and installed this correctly? If so, when did you download the update? I am guessing we have a bad update.

For some reason I had two copies of the TI software installed on my computer, not sure how that happened. When I uninstalled them both and ran the 1.2.4 update the correct firmware version was loaded.

I updated from 1.2.3 to 1.2.4 without any problems. You should be getting all Virus TI updates from the official website www.virus.info. I dont think the driver was updated in this version from 1.2.3, I think its just the firmware. The install asks if you want to keep the original or overwrite with the same version (or something like that) before the update firmware screen appears.
If you dont get any help here, you could always try some dedicated virus forums like www.virusti.com or www.infekted.org. chances are, someone else may have had this issue and found a way to fix it.
good luck.

1.2.4 owned my TI.
Inputs are all messed up and the LED's and BPM light have stayed on after powering down twice now.
