Yes, I found this change annoying too. You can either use Shift-Alt+S to submit or you can change it back to how it was using about :config
Change:
ui.key.chromeAccess to 5
ui.key.contentAccess to 4
This will allow you to use Alt for webpage shortcuts and Shift-Alt for Firefox's menu shortcuts
and it works!
could this post belong in tech and gadget forum...prolly, but I thought a start here would be nice and thena move later to there would be wonderful.

I actually found out the alt -s thing a long time back and have been using it for years, any other method seems odd to me.

its right where my pinkys are, nice quick fluid motion
and also i frequently have one hand on tab to ctrl-tab or alt-tab windows so it's used to going there

yup same
it seems so weird when you think about it
i've clocked like 105+ wpm too
my mom's a secretary and thinks i'm a freak of nature
also i have a laptop so left thumb is for the mouse
and once in a while i'll use my right thumb for pressing the space bar
idk
