well for now my memory usage has cut in half. Good link.

If you use many extensions... ive found that those are memory whores.

I cut back on a most and my usage went from 80 meg to about 30.

I have the :config set to 60 meg.

If you have a decent broadband connection you can turn on pipelining to get even more speedy page loads.
