i just got what i believe was their first commercial album, it's really good anyone else a fan of their work?

I love that track too. I was in Assembly (5.000 people demoscene party in finland), some kids were playing that melody all the time..Always I hear that track I start to cry in my mind "come back, please, comeback 99".

It was last summer I was there. If I am right, that track was number one, at the same time when Darude was number 3 with his "Sandstrom"? (it is not trance, but EDM music).

I've only ever heard the Space Club mix of ressurection but it is a beauty I replay the melody on my piano all the time

Really? Are you sure? I don't suppose you'd have posted if you weren't, just seems wierd to me that things like For An Angel, Silence, Airwave and other massive trancers haven't achieved that accolade.

As far as I know, PPK is just one producer, Alexander Polyakov, who now runs his new label called iRussia, it's available on Beatport.

Honestly, aside from the fact it was whored to death, did no one else find that bloody uber high sine wave lead bloody annoying?

And it's not like any remixes saved it, since they all use the same fucking lead just so everyone knows it.

Don't get me wrong, as far as tunes go it's not the worst, and it clearly did very well popularity wise, but from the first listen I've never been able to like it.

It's only redeeming feature for me is that it kinda has a sound like BBE, only that decided to chipmunk their sine wave generator and add a delay to it.

I think it was pretty nifty that PPK came out with another track (called Reload) featuring that same unique sound
I heard a remix of this by Hypnotic State (TA producer/remixer) that just blew me away!
Never heard it before that, didn't even know it existed. But I think it compliments ressurection very well.
