Exclamation DJs that have same mixes hosted by multiple sites.

why?
this really bothers me and I figure that in most cases its usually because they are just space hogs. Why does a dj need more than 1 place to make your mix available for download. Fuckin stupid!

okay so why not make it a different mix? Like for example me... currently 3 different mixes on 3 different websites. If I wanna promote all my mixes on some website I provide Links to all of them.
I've seen djs with their own websites hosting their own mixes... not even thinking to help promote up and coming djs on their website.
and then going to other websites dedicated to promoting djs to use their database WTF???
and having the same godamn mix hosted on like 5 other sites as well.
please tell me thats not just WTF???
If i had my own website I would make sure that the djs are giving me quality mixes that are special and unique cuz they are on my website only.

Hosting mixes never gets you gigs.

Knowing people gets you gigs.

Get over it.

P.S. Pay the $7.95/month for your own website

Then you are very lucky...

At least around here, it's all about getting to know the promoters and club owners. Has really little to do with talent in many cases, and more to do with whether you can pull in the customers.
