Winter Break III: January 27, 2007

Silverwaters & MGF presents:

WINTER BREAK III

Saturday, January 27th

Featuring:

Room One
Breaks

Baobinga
Cyberfunk, Plastic Raygun, Hardcore Beats, 777
http://www.myspace.com/baobinga

In the past couple of years, Baobinga has gained a reputation for pushing a unique and versatile sound that refuses to recognize boundaries. Not afraid to mash up his styles, Baobinga’s sets push out everything from techno, dub step, garage, house, breaks, hip-hop and D'n'B. Releasing on a variety of top drawer labels, including; Cyberfunk, Plastic Ragun, Hardcore Beats and Fusetrax, his productions range in various directions of heads down stompers to grimey beats. From his track 'Bashmment Track' (which featured on the massive Freestylers Fabric Live CD), through to the 4/4 stomp of 'Shake Yer Head' (the fourth release on Aquasky's 777 label) and the sounds of 'The Feeling' (picked up by Electronic Arts for their FIFA Street computer game), Baobinga has become one of the names to watch for. His release on supercharged, 'Know Ya / All Up In Your Head' was a collaboration with 30Hz and became a firm favorite with the Plump DJs and Atomic Hooligan, and just about everyone else! His recent collaborations with I.D. as 'Big Monster' are being released on the legendary Fat! Label and have turned heads for their blend of tough breaks with emotive techno.

Don’t miss out as Baobinga brings back his raw energy to the VanCity dancefloor!
