Here are all the official answers surrounding the mistery of Aria's closing party...

YES, there will be a closing party.

NO, it will not be Saturday Dec.9th, but later in December.

The date is confirmed, and it will be revealed soon with official date, e-flyer, line-up, price, and official communiqué by Aria.

I talked with JFL today and it is the intention of everybody to do a very nice closing party, the way it should be, and promoted like it should. The info will come out and the next days.

It is true that primary intentions were to do that night on Dec 2nd, and then was postponed to dec 9th. But Aria never officially promoted that night, and most of the info leaked out way before it was even a reality. Some Djs were indeed ready to play, but Aria didn't received all confirmations, and didn't have time to get everything together on time.

That means flyer, a nice official closing communiqué, and a proper promo.

Again, it was very clear between me and Jean-Fred that he wants to finish this adventure the right way, and give everybody at least 2 weeks to promote this right. He put a lot of efforts in to that club, it would be crazy to think he doesn't care.

We COULD have done it Saturday the 9th, but I did suggest that it wasn't a good idea since it didn't give enough time for people to plan it out, most were in exams, and it just wasn't the right way to end on a positive note with all the bad mouth on the web right now.

Aria should have a nice closing party, and we will join efforts to do so.

I honestly think that all the anger regarding bad promo of that night is unjustified. I would have been the first to promote it hard BUT IT WAS NEVER READY to do so in the first place. If one thing I learned in 8 years of working with clubs, is WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL INFO.

Will there be an international headliner? no. Will all local Djs that played for aria be there? Obviously not since some of them just refused the invitation.
