Depends, if you know how to use FL then use it. It is a CPU eater...but in all honesty I believe it doesn't matter what platform you use for producing, it matters how you use it.

I've been using FL for 4 years now, I love it and It's all I'd ever choose unless I was forced to use something else. I hate how it is a CPU eater though, but, you can really make wonders with FL. People just think it's shit because the layout is rather childish and it doesn't look too complex for producing.

Don't post topics in more than one place. COR isn't the place for production questions anyway. If you think that FL is "shit," then by all means, switch. I wouldn't hold out much hope for making better quality productions if you insist on blaming the sequencer when you can't make what you want, but good luck to you.

Oh, I've produced some songs, and I know for sure you can use it to create full songs in a professional manner. Timo Mae is my source here. He is amazing and uses only FL.

But the CPU usage is a bitch. I can't open up z3ta without getting 60% usage, then I add say camelspace, and it's full.

I may move to logic, I may clean this computer out, upgrade to a phat processor and some more ram and beast shit out in FL.

Im getting a macbook, so im gonna learn cubase and logic. As much as I love FL, I dont love the fact that I simply cant have more than 3 Synth VST's opened without upping the buffer to like 7k which is a mind fuck and it literally pisses me off. Then you have to go and convert your instruments to .wav's and im far too lazy for that kind of business , and upgrading PC's really isnt my thing.

Yeah

http://www.mizsmo.com/newstuff11.mp3

That was made under 100% cpu usage, with so much buffer I didn't even know what the song sounded like till I exported it.

Not the best, but probably the best I've produced in forever with FL.
