I know of it and have played it several times. If I recall correctly it is quite fun, however, I have not played it in several years and do not recall the rules.

I find that with many things British you'll more readily find them still practiced in Canada but not in the US. I suspect that this is largely due to the fact the US cut ties to Britain more then a hundred years earlier then we did... and we only partially cut them at that.
