[VIDEO] --- Saturday Night Was Amazing!!!
Woohoo... As many of you know, I'm resident DJ at Queen Mary on Saturdays. The music we play there is a lot of Spanish Rock & Trance and a little bit of hip hop. The club usually pulls about 1000 people, and we have commercials on Super Estrella 107.1. It's not your typical EDM club, but our crowd (90% Hispanic) likes Trance. Off course we have to play some commercial stuff too.
Anyhow, this past Sat. we sold out. As I was doing my set (prime time), a guest violinist showed up. And Bam! She began playing the violin over my set! I felt like Tiesto In Concert! hahaha That was awesome. The crowd loved it.

Than, when she was done, I played for like 30 more minutes and MARK LEWIS (Interstate) showed up and did an amazing house set. He played a lot of mainstream stuff, but he had too. Our crowd is mainstream. But it was amazing regardless and the crowd loved it. If you guys want something different than your typical Hollywood club, come over. I always have a guestlist. Oh one more thing... GIRLS!!! There's TONS OF HOT GIRLS all over the place!
We also have Paul Oakenfold, Christopher Lawrence, and DJ Dan coming up. Those nights should be fun too.
Here's video of me DJing and the girl playing the violin.

Ok, the other DJ really wanted to show me his remix of Sexy Back, so I gave him a chance to play it. It was good, but I really wanted to hear Xpander on a LOUD system. So I cut his song right away. Hahaha And because Xpander is kinda mellow and not exactly too mainstream, I had to switch it up to even more mainstream quickly! haha
I would never play this much mainstream at Spundae or to a 100% EDM crowd. I do play some mainstream songs from time to time, but not this many! hahaha
that first video sounds like a fucking lamb is getting slaughtered...
mainstream or not judging from those T/L's, a woman with menopause has more flow than that

What do you put into your live sets that has made you a dancefloor favorite for the past decade?
"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge
