If that's all she knew, it really isn't that big of a deal. Humans lived off the earth for thousands of years before living like we do now. Though it's interesting, it's not surprising in the least that she could have survived that long.

yeah a good point, i think the only reason we can communicate to each other is because institutions and social interaction taught civilization how. speaking, or just general communicating by other, means with other humans taught us how to decode messages, body language, tone, etc... of course this evolved and we have languages today...true, not so much of a surprise she survived 18 years, Neanderthals did that in the early days of civilization, but interesting nonetheless
