other than CD-R's ....or installing the old hard drive....i'm not sure...

You could buy one of those portable devices (almost the size of a pager) that connect thru the USB and can store up to 1 Gig.
Then all you have to do after you copy them is to plug it into the USB of the other computer and transfer the files...
But it's really expesive....like around $400

good luck!

Just use a few CD-RWs

When I do a ssystem install and setup for my friends, I have about 10 CD-RWs to tranfer large programs and files.

I know that there are USB plugs that allow you to tranfer from PC to Laptop

Well invest in a latptop network card, about 15 quid at any good comp fair, or expensive pc shop. Computer fairs r better. AnywayNetwork the 2 comps together, you know how to do that

Or you could use a parrallel cable, like a printer cable kinda thing, and try that, but for the life of me i have never got that to work. Just network them And will use the network card a lot in the future, well worth it

yep.. network is probably the best way.., get a network card into both, and buy a crossover cable and share your mp3directory from the other machine and copy it over.
