?
the same ideas, just slightly different implementation...right?
(going from JKII to FU, lol)
and everyone should likely wait until this actual comes out to totally freak over the 'awesomeness' of this game.
it may be tech'ly advanced, but the physics engine IS the same as HL2 as well as many others, and the rag doll physics are the same as GT4 as well as other games. its how it all gets put together that counts. Dark Knight and Jedi Knight weren't the most technologically advanced games even at their times of release, but they had some sort of soul to them and tech demos cannot relate that, you need to play them and be compelled. and if no one has played Force yet, you can be excited, but cant start calling everyone stupid|
(and a hyped up SW game is nothing new, there have been more disappointments than successes)
but why am i responding to an rjt post anyways, i know better

The only thing I think is stupid is the claim that it's "the same physics engine as HL2" (one of them is), and writing something off as something it clearly isn't (how any of the videos above constitute garden variety "rag doll" physics escapes me - rag doll physics don't respond in any way other than as rag dolls. They certainly don't interact with their environment in any meaningful way other than "plop").
Oversimplification of something isn't criticism - that's why it's called oversimplification.

Who has said otherwise? I didn't realize continually stating the obvious was absolutely necessary here.

Obviously you don't. And my guess is that you respond because regardless of how much you say you loathe me, you appreciate my responses here more than the vast majority of other peoples.
