Melodyne can do a lot more, but if you aren't going to use the other stuff it can do there is no reason to pay more for it. Go with what you need.

Does anyone use Melodyne and can testify how good it is? Also, does it come with any vocal effects (like reverb, robotize, decay, etc.) I think I like what I see so far, and want to make a decision soon because I got this chick's vocals and she's TOTALLY flat but I can't tell her to re-record because she'll never work with me again lol. |
well... they're different, melodyne is better if you have about an hour to sit there going over the performance with a fine tooth comb, I also like its interface better. AT is better as a quick fix, if there's like one wrong note and you just want it out. If the entire performance is a bit off though, your better off with melodyne. But is the entire performance is a bit off, your better of re recording! And get a better vocalist. If she's crap and always flat, why would you want her back?
