well, I've given her the CD...actually her set didn't really impress me...and to one of the journalists who interviewed her she said thing like that the stage was shaking and all that crap like that :-/ she blamed her mistakes on anything but herself :-( actually I know the club isn't the best, but it's the best we have in the city.
Another thing is that she was quite friendly, I've shown her my mobile phone with a message about my demo (if i can give it to her) and she immediately nods...that's all great...she gave me her own promo CD in return...nice gesture...
now to the sets
First was Aston Martin (From the czech cybertronic group) very friendly guy, really down to earth had a talk with him shook hands etc...he even told me to find him on ICQ so we can have talk later :-)
Martin Hloch was the second on stage...he got stuck somewhere between tech-house and tech-trance and never moved.
Then laydee...she came up starting with tech-trance and moved in almost the very last moment of her set to some melodic trance.
After that came Kaisersoze who is a czech techno dj, with quite a good reputation, and he was much better than LayDee Jane. :-(
so to sum it up...yes LayDee is kind of friendly...but I wouldn't definitely call her being down to earth or something. She doesn't seem to know how to build atmosphere in her set, it was one banging tech track after another...and I think many of the DJs you can find in the DJ Promo section are much better...really...
I would even more appreciate Tijs "The Trainwrecker" Tiësto... :-(
dissapointed...that's all I can say.
