The pio cdj-1000 mk2 (MKII) does NOT support mp3 playback??
I just DL'ed 54 tracks off beatport, and burned them all as 320 kb/s mp3 files onto one cd each, and made a label for each one... took me a whole day..
54 cd's later..

Why did you burn them as mp3 if you were only gonna put 1 track per cd anyway? I would think the purpose of burning them as mp3 is to jam a whole bunch of tracks onto 1 cd. Doesn't make too much sense to burn 1 track per cd as an mp3 or am i missing something?

Lol...i did 5 songs per cd before and that was too much..and rather than making two copies... I find it easier to make one per cd.. incase i want to mix two songs on the same cd..
I was inspired by the organization thread in the sticky.
But I did burn them as 'audio cd's. Will that make a difference. Will the cdj-1000 mk2 play them since I have burned them as audio cds?

I did? I went to Nero..selected 'Burn Audio CD'
Put one mp3 track on the cd > burned it > slapped on a label > and put it in my binder.
I feel horrible now. But these are really the first 54 tunes of my 'cd collection' I mainly have vinyl an other cd assortments.
So I guess from now on I can just burn wav files onto the cds...and forget about the 54 tracks. (since they are really the 'start' of my cd collection, and ill probably end up having bought 1000's of tracks off beatport sooner or later.

wtf!? they will play fine on any cd-player if you burned them as audio cds and not as mp3 cds. there's no need to buy wavs because of that.
