There's lots you can do depending on what you are hooking into it. I will tell you one thing though....the filters are so damn clean that you can mix without having to touch the eqs. Use the highpass filter and gradually go from right to left on the frequency range. Before you get to the freq to say 10 o'clock hit the filter on the other channel, while having it at 10o'clock, while killing the filter on the channel that you are bringing in. It might sound confusing, but mess with it. Just have fun and enjoy mixing on the best mixer company in the world. |
What works even better, and is what I usually do, is bringing the track in with the filter at about 12, and with each mid EQ and the low EQ adjusted in some way. You can get an incredibly smooth mix when you put all of the Xone's features to use.
