out of ideas

SUp community,

I have a track that i've been working on for almost a week and im still not happy with it, i think it lacks something but not sure what im out of ideas, any suggestions are welcome, thx in advance.

Given this a listen and I like this is some ways but has a few points that still prevents it from being as good as it could be.

In terms of melody you don't really need too much for one of these style tracks.
You might want to re-think that bass sound every 16 or 32. One of them is fine but one just clashes with all the notes around it.

The over all mix seems to be missing some drive, but it has potential to be a pretty good track.

I do think you maybe need a pad or something, but that's just my opinion.

Wouldn't mind giving this a remix at some point when I get the time.

I have exactly the same problem as you, since I normally tend to produce the same style of tracks as SpeedTunnel. The best thing that works for me is seeing how a SAMBA drumband builds up tension and drive, and adding thoses elements to your track. Not the instruments, but the concept/idea.

I've noticed that too but thought its just my headphones, thx ill defintly work on that, drop me a line at any time u wanna do a remix. thx for taking the time to listen, appreciated

THx for the advice, i usually listen to similar type of trak to get the idea but this time it just wont work, btw where can i listen to your music?
