In the year 2000, 7 years ago, when I signed up here. there were 3 dj's that kicked ass. They were in everybody's top 5, and 90% of everybody's top 3.
Those Dj's were AVB,PVD and Tiesto.
It is the year 2007, and nothing has changed. How can 3 people dominate a music genre for 7, probably 10 years.
im pretty sure oakenfold was higher on ppls lists than avb was back then

yeah, you're probably right. And so was sasha, and maybe even sven vath or whatever his name is. But i'm just saying that in 10 years wouldn't you want some change. Either the top 5 guys keep getting better, which is doubtful, or there is no competition. Thus, trance music is not good.

only the people change the outcome...obviously the djs are doing something right if they are still up there

How can Motzart, Beethoven still be kickass now, after years of being dead? How can Eminem still be top, after 10years or whatever, Dr Dre, snoop dogg? Look at any genre and you see artists who still do good. Elton John, George Michael, Mariah Carey's been there for years.
