We’re back for our 11 year anniversary!! With another installment of the legendary Industry Summer Magic festival! This year’s event promises to be one of the largest dance music events of the year. In collaboration with the Docks complex, Industry Summer Magic will be kicking off the summer season early on long weekend Sunday May 20th. The past Industry Summer Magic events on the August long weekend have all been a resounding success attracting thousands and thousands of house music lovers to the breathtaking waterfront complex. For many ‘House Heads’ the Industry Summer Magic events have been “the parties to end all parties”, bringing back the vibe that makes Industry one of the most missed nightclubs in the world. This year we’re giving the Industry faithful a chance to feel the Magic usher in the start of the party season on the first long weekend Sunday of the year.
Keeping with tradition, Industry Summer Magic will present an unprecedented house music inspired lineup. The event will feature three rooms of music. In the Main Tribal Room, Industry is very happy to welcome back New York’s legendary tribal house DJ Victor Calderone for an electrifying, four hour extended set. Victor brings the energy to the dance floor like very few DJ’s crossing the boundaries with his diverse styles of music and fan base. Joining Victor, also from New York City, will be Industry favorite Cevin Fisher. Cevin’s anthems are a welcome reminder of the great parties that happened at Industry. Opening for Cevin will be his good friend and Industry resident, DJ Matt C. This room will also feature a vocal performance from Chicago Diva, Celeda. She will be singing her Danny Tenaglia anthems “Be Yourself” and “Music is the Answer”. For those who don’t remember, Celeda blew up the first Industry reunion event a few years ago. Are you starting to feel the Magic yet?
The Funky House Room will feature the return of Chicago’s DJ Heather who has fast tracked to the top of her ‘chugging house’ genre. Industry resident and Canadian electronic music and DJ technology ambassador, John Acquaviva, will join Heather. This will be John’s first Industry reunion experience and he is very excited to bring his soulful and eclectic sound to the dance floor. Los Angeles’ biggest house music DJ export Doc Martin will be returning for another Summer Magic appearance, joined by his vocalist Lillia. Their ‘Sub-Level party vibe’ is the talk of the Los Angeles underground house scene right now. Deep, Bass, Funk and Electro all wrapped up in one. Opening for Doc will be Industry regular DJ Gryphon playing his unique blend of Chicago and West Coast influenced house.
Industry Summer Magic is very excited to announce a third sound stage in the Next Level Roof Top Lounge and patio areas. The ‘Hard and Soul’ room will feature deep house and will be hosted by Boogie Inc and Mixed Signals. Headlining this room will be one of the house music’s most respected denizens, Frankie Feliciano from New York City. The ‘Hard and Soul’ room will be filled out with Andy Roberts and Industry residents Luc Raymond from Montreal, and Dino & Terry.
