I just listened to Antidote's new album Evolution Revolution and I must say it is the best album I have heard!!!
I don't listen to too many artist albums because I usually find more sub-par try-hards than quality tunes I'd want to hear over and over again.
But this album was like 80 mins of sex! Just WOW!
Can anyone really add that magic touch like L Vee or what? Antidote truly reignited emotional trance for me, and I hope other artists will follow this sound!
I fail to see how this qualifies as emotional trance.
If you're referring to the gated strings in some of the tracks, there's plenty of that on the Fire & Ice & Planisphere albums
The Antidote album however, is geared towards the clubs and is hardly an emotional journey.
I wonder why Laurent has decided to release this album. You have to say that, while most of the tracks do the job on the dancefloor, they are not really suited for home listening because of their simplistic nature. The Planisphere album is much more rewarding in that respect.

the album is just a collection and i don't think much of some of the newer tracks on the album, however, since it's a collection of released singles, the ones released before 2005 are well interesting. lvee & marnik has done some cracking productions & remixes under the antidote moniker

I agree what's been said, the older Antidote material is better than the new ones.

No. That Antidote is/was a project of a Greek duo back in 99 and Eclipse has been their only release, so far anyway.
The Antidote talked here is a Belgian project by Laurent "Airwave" Véronnez & Marnix Braeckevelt and was formed around 2002-2003.

I agree. It's a mixture of relly nice tracks and tracks that feel like a waste of time listening to.
I loved their The First Rebirth remix, fuckin godlike track.
