A little rant about the idiot MCs on BPM/The Move
Well, it first got to me about how they constantly butcher the pronunciation of Hernan Cattaneo's name...
Proper pronunciation: HER-nin Cuh-TAN-yo
First, on the "Hernan Cattaneo - The Palms Hotel WMC 06Mar04", which is pure sex, btw:
Dude pronounces his name "her-NAN KAI-tee-ah-no", then his buddy, handing off the pronunciation duties, says, "you have the better accent"
Then, on "Hernan Cattaneo - Pure Future 28Jul06":
Girl MC pronounces "herNAN Cat-uh-NAY-oh"
I mean, shouldn't they at least all butcher it consistently?
Then in Carl Cox @ Ultrafest 2007 (no, they didn't screw up Coxy's name...):
The same guy from the Hernan @ Palms WMC set, while introducing Carl Cox during the first track of his set says, "Always the proper house music, techno, whatever you want to call it."
Horrible, these cats are.
