PC software for mashups? Ableton definitely...but each to his own, and what suits me can be a total disaster for you...you know?

it's a little more intensive than selecting track A, then selecting track B, then pushing Mash-Up and out pops a tune

And Yes, What's Up With The Capitals?

As said before you can't go wrong with Ableton Live. It's makes it very easy to chop a tune up into bits and then layer other bits of tunes over the top etc

There are other programs, but Ableton was designed to remix etc on the fly 'live' so doing something like this at home should be a piece of cake - presuming you have the creativity and skills.

the best software is ableton but you need to know it inside out to get the best from it and preferably have a midi controller

you still need to know what you're doing though

download MixedInKey - i dunno how accurate a program it is... but u might want to learn how to harmonic mix... it apparently finds the keys for each track along with the bpm and pops the tracks in a folder/directory.

u can then pick which tracks will work well together

will give u a great insight into making mashups on the fly...

http://www.mixedinkey.com/ there's a lil audio demo down the left of the page, mostly crappy cheese but give u an idea
