ok everyone, i went to see the man himself
So after getting harassed by the cops in detroit for DWB, i finally made it to the club around 10:30pm,
the opening DJ, whatever the fuck his name was, was playing the wierdest shit i have ever heard, it sounded like i walked into a video game arcade.
oh so now i have to go back about an hour. when the cops pulled me over i was scared they would search me and beat the shit out of me, after all i was in detroit and i know what the america is like, i know what happened to Rodney King. So having 3 pills in my pocket i began to panic, so i did the logical thing, i swalled them all, at that time i thought it would be better to trip balls later then get my ass kicked now.
so back to the club, i didnt care how crappy this dj was coz i was getting the rush of my life, i couldnt see straight. the colours in the club looked so pretty.
so yeah, at like 11pm the man came on. he opened with
Lange vs. Gareth Emery -Another You Another Me[Vandit]
I knew then that it would be a killer set. He played shit i have never heard before, i was shocked that i was looking at pvd. he was so into the set as well, ive never seen a dj have so much fun before, even more fun then carl cox was having at the guv. the set was hard and banging with a techy edge to it, towards the end of his set he got a little more trancey and closed with for an angel.
i give the night a 20/10, never before have i been so impressed by a dj.
now the club closed at 2:30 ??????? whats up with that.
as i was leaving the club i saw the man himself with a group of hot women, these women made the playboy buddies look like something out of a horror movie.
so as high as i was i yelled. "yo PVD, you rock man, you are the reason i appreciate electronic music, hope you have fun with those chicks"
to my surprise his whole pose stopped and looked at me. then one of his women smiled at me and asked if i wanted to come party with them in their hotel room.
no chance in hell would i pass up something like this.
so we get back to the hotel room and im not only in the presence of a musician i admire but im in the presence of some hot chicks.
i had a great chat with PVD about his productions and i asked him when he is comming to toronto, he did confirm that he will be here later in the year. hes a really really nice guy. respect!
so i then diverted my attention towards the lovely lady that had invited me and after some small talk we began making out and .................. FUCK my alarm clock started ringing and i had to wake up and come to the sad realization that i was in my bed here in toronto.
