The point isn't to "get out of your body", it's to bring awareness to your consciousness while you're experiencing another reality.

I made some changes to the track. Trance lead was replaced by a distorted lead, don't know if it changed for the worse... Mixing should at least be a bit better now.

Give it a listen.

I like the "simply" in this, nice fx´s! The melody is good but maybe a bit repetitive. Sounds nice anyway!

Nice track indeed.

Mix down could to with work especially the kick and some of the deeper components.

Reminds me of an old track 'Johnny and Mary' (Robert Plant I think). I think it's the guitar riff in particular. This is not a bad thing.

Good job and coule do with some developing but good job.

Cheers
Nem

This is really nice, I appreciate the guitar type instrument (or is it more exotic than that?) in it a lot! Its simple and minimal but still very melodic. There are a few things you might change;

The lows mids sound a little tubby to me, maybe they could get cut back a little? I would also add more hi mids, but more in the middle range than the high range if you know what I mean... I think maybe the problem is that the bass lacks punch a little bit, everything just seems a bit muddy and indistinct. I know what acoustic instruments are like to EQ though, so this might prove tricky. If its a synth bass, you might have to completely rebuild it, it'll be worth it though.

I don't know if it's your thing, but you might also consider throwing in some stutter edits on the guitar line, it could be a nice affect.

Other than the EQ balance issues, I'd say you have a real winner here. The pads and bell sounds work very well. The percussion is great too, I'd keep the more exotic elements to the fore throughout the whole track, they seem to drift away a bit towards the middle. the basic idea of the song is great, just needs a touch of polish to become great.

They were actually cut back a bit in the first version, but imo it made the track too thin sounding. It's an issue with eq'ing all the elements there, and there's a bit too much for my skills.

I know. But I had to eq out higher freqs on the bass guitar, or the whole track would have become way too muddy. It was all in all, a very tricky track to mix. So many elements occupying same frequencies.

Yeah, a touch of a professional mixing engineer.

Yeah, I know what its like trying to mix acoustic and electronic elements in one track, its really easy for everything to get muddied up... Still, you should do as much as you can with it, or try and give it to someone else and see if they can help out a bit maybe, this track's definately worth it!

great intro, and the bass guitar is nice...I really like the acoustic touch in this...would be great for an intro track...may I use it when DJing?

I really liked your playing...and you did pretty well on the mixdown I think...working with natural instruments is always very hard...but I think it sounds quite solid overall :-)

liked the FX and the pad in the beginning...

breaks down nicely also :-) great job...I loved it
