I had a blast last night. As of last night Sasha became my #1 again!!! My body is aching so much right now, but it's well worth it. Thanks to everyone for making sure I had a good time, and extra special thanks to Karen & Miss G for being my partners in crime.
I think it was destiny that wanted me to go last night. I was so bummed out I missed him in San Diego Friday. Than last night when I showed up to my club, the promoters shut it down due to a carnival outside. I than sped my way to the Vanguard where I ran into Curly outside. He had an extra discount pass, and BAM! I got me my ticket!!!
It was like a reunion party for me. I saw so many faces I haven't seen in a long time. It was great seeing all of you. I finally got to meet the infamous Randy S. Nice meeting you bro.
SO HERE'S MY REVIEW....
THE BACK ROOM
I got there around 11:00pm, and I was surprised there wasn't a line except for the guestlist. Last time I saw Sasha at Avalon, the line was ridiculous. Anyhow, as soon as I got there, I heard that Bas & Clovis were going to play in the back room. I got excited about it, than I went to gather my troops so we can go see them. Honestly, you guys were freaking solid! That room was full with people when you guys were on. It won't surprise me if you guys play in the main room one day. I had more fun with you guys than I had with the people playing in the main room. Awesome job guys.
Than soon after, the TA Takeover was in full effect. Junior Chavez, Randy S, and a few other TA's got to play. You all did a great job.
SASHA
Holy fucken cow!!! I had lost all my faith in Sasha. Everyone that knows me good knows that Sasha was my favorite DJ since the 90's. I had never missed a Sasha show. I have seen & heard Sasha play everything from Trance, to old school techno, to house, to some weird shit. Than when his Fundacion residency began, it all went downhill. He was boring me to death. I wouldn't stay 'til he was done. It almost was like you had to be on something to be able to enjoy & trip out to his music. So I gave him another chance this past New Years... Same shit, Sasha was boring, and Digweed was banging it hard.
So finally, I got to see him again last night. And WOW.  He was fucken amazing!!!! I was sober, well; I was drunk, but damn!!! Time went by so fast. I haven't danced so much in a long ass time. My body is soared from all the dancing. I jumped, I danced, I screamed, I smiled, I laughed. That was the Sasha I liked.
Sasha's last 30 minutes were insane. I want a copy of the recording if anyone has one! He had me jumping all over the place! I got to admit. Sasha has some huge balls for encoring with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE's - SEXY BACK!!! Everyone went nuts when he dropped it. It was an awesome remix, but I was still tripping cuz I'm tired of that song. Hahaha 
Another song that stood out for me a lot was one that sounded like BLONDIE's RAPTURE... If anyone knows the name, please let me know.
OVER ALL EXPERIENCE
Overall it was an amazing time. I’d do it all over again. Great seeing everyone, I won't list you guy’s cuz I know I'll miss some of you. Julia, you were missed. I really wanted to see you.  Next time.
