Great control of variation in this track... very unique sound. I think the vocals are a little too normal in relation to the instrumental portion of the track. Besides that i really enjoyed this piece and cant say any negative about to be constructive. Ill just say i really enjoyed it and would love to hear more.

serginka, Bidor, Xenocreator,
Thanks for the listen and comments!
I love Crystal Meth...od.
This is honestly my first try at doing things with vocals, so I didn't really attempt much on that level. Although, I did have some fun with Live's 'Simpler', specifically sample start and set to a small loop.
If you'd care to, make a (nice) comment on the song's page. No need to sign up or log in. Also, there will be some form of voting in the near future!

hey, I just listened to it and commented on the site I'm totally voting for yours. Nice work!
I just submitted mine too but I don't think it's posted yet. (look for "shwabang")
Celldweller used to go by the name "Circle of Dust." If you like rock and electronic music combined, you'll probably like a lot of his (Klayton's) music. When I heard "Chasm" about 6 years ago, I was hooked. He's now had his music on the matrix trailer and many video games, TV shows, film etc.

Very cool atmosphere! The vocals sounds great but as Serginka said I think it could have been more weird. However, I enjoyed it!

Thanks you two!
Adam, I'm looking forward to your submission. I've never really heard his stuff, and I still haven't! haha... I made a point of NOT listening to the original song, so that it wouldn't affect my thought process.
Glad you enjoyed it Akia. I DID have some fairly effected vocals. Heck, they went through the grinder. Then I read some posts concerning rejected submissions for either no vocals at all or too heavily effected. They want an instrumental track if it's chosen, makes me wonder if they want to re-record vocals or something.
There is still a part during the breakdown where the vocals are reversed, glitched, bitcrushed and delayed.
Cheers!

Don't mean to dig up my old post, but finalists were announced today. Not one of them. But thanks for the nice comments anyway!
