advice on m-audio x session

Hey everyone,

I did a search and was hoping for a fresh perspective...i dont have the cash for a djm800 and am looking at a cheapish way to incorporate my ableton live. What x sessions do you all think is better...the new pro or the old orginal x.

Thanks for all the help..

Try an Evolution UC-33. 100 bucks on eBay.

I'd say UC-33e or two of the old X-sessions

The new X-session's design is very anoying to me, and it looks too much like a toy.

I've heard good things about that one. If you're looking to map it to ableton, the UC-33 has a good set up for faders + Hi/Mid/Low EQ's on multiple channels. The extra knobs and faders are also great for controlling effects parameters.
