Im sure alot of you might think this is a stupid idea but out of pure boredom I though of a this idea where Ta producers come toghter and make a track. Everyone can add there own little bit of the track and eventually maybe something will come out of it. . Im just learning to use Logic so I came up with the loop below. I have attched the aif and midi file. People can add to it or do whatver but hopfully by the time its done it will be a big colaboration amonst ppl on ta. The challanging part will be working with other ideas to try and work it into something good

It probably just wasn't organized well. You'd have to set some guidelines up first:
We all use the same software, and all have the same virtual instruments / plug-ins. Ideally the factory install. If you use a third party instrument, you'd have to commit the track as a bounce audio track.
Instead of midi tracks... we'd easily be sharing a logic project file.
We all can't work simultaneously so each person gets a week or so, and hands it off to the next. The new file, and audio assets get uploaded to an FTP server that everyone gets access to, one at a time, and eventually... ta da. likely a huge piece of shit track
why don't we really make this interesting... CReddick brought up, 'same vsts's' well in most softwares, logic, protools, ableton etc... you can save project bundles and share them with other users who have the same vsts as you.
why don't we do a sequencer TA production:
ableton users(5) vs logic users(5) vs reason users(5) vs cubase (5) etc, etc
We'll all start with the same track/remix parts and go nuts. maybe we can end all this stupid "this is clearly a better sequencer" or "this is clearly a better platform" with just a monthly competition. we'll vote on each others productions and on to the next thing.
is anyone interested in this?

eh... i don't think we need another sequencer battle... when we really know its all about the idiot using it.
I thought the collab idea would be fun. i've got the FTP server space and would be willing to moderate if folks are really interested.
If interested, reply saying so... and that will set the marching order of who gets to work next.

i'm interested but if you've ever worked on a track with someone in the same sequencer it makes life really easy. whatever though, i'm down to work with parts.

Why not just sample everything you do as wav files and include them in the bundle.

File size would become huge. Some of my projects are up to 1 GB large, with full bounced tracks.
These kind of things work best in Reason, everything can be self contained.

We could use just freeware synths like Synth1 etc?
