Smiley DJ Help on using Echo and Tape Echo

Ok well i have a DXM06 mixer (works great ted promo )

So i have been wanting to learn how to use the Echo or Tape Echo effect.
I have no clue when/how to use it. Please help.

there's a bit u have to click to dispaly videos, noticed there's one based on the effects and how to use them, might help give u an idea of when to use them - like with pretty much most things with regards to djing, there's no right or wrong time, it's a case of knowing wot intensity to use at certain points

thanks i'll check that out....

it's not that i don't know how...i know the rate does and what the intesity does....but its more like when and how much to use.

only u can decide that... i would expect u will need to practise tho

record ur mixes while using the fx, listen back and u will be able to decide whether it sounded shit or whether it sounded good, whether u need to use a little less or more of the effect and at which points they would work. it all comes down to intuition and practise... as usual
