under normal circumstances, i would say "BUY TECHS, NUFF SAID!!!" but these arent normal circumstances. just dont touch the thing while its playing and keep it on a level surface and it will be fine. on and buy a nice high quality archival cart for it cuz the one it comes with is bound to be shit.
by the time you get done buying a direct drive tt ($100 minimum), and phono preamp ($40), and an audio interface ($150), well you do the math. |
do you think spending some more money = worse end product?
i still have a beltdrive that i have never dj'ed with, and i wouldn't waste my time ripping vinyl w/it.
sure the ion will do what it says it will do. but you do get what you pay for. the money you think you're saving isn't everything.
