I say let the release go on the main amp ADSR on that building lead, and then automate some reverb that is maxing out on it as a transitional element, allowing it to turn into a blur, then fading into your new, main lead. Then on the main lead melody after the break, change to a different, maybe high, crispy, pluck sound doing the same lead melody, of course with some delay.....Other than that, well-produced.
