i'm in the market for a new mixer. Nothing too extravagant but something which is reliable with plenty of features and not too much cost.
Kinda like the look of the Gemini PS02(USB) and Gemini PS04. Does anyone have any experience of this models? How does the USB feature work exactly? Obviously, one end connects to the device and the other to the mixer but how would I cue a record from my computer?
Thanks for any advice

Re: Mixer recommendation..
AAAAAAAHHHH! Don't buy Gemini! Period! Total crap.
You should stick with solid brands like Allen & Heath, Pioneer, Stanton, Numark, Vestax, or Rane. (I might be leaving out a few others.)
What's your budget? Are there any particular features you are looking for?

Thanks for the reply DJChrisB.
To date, i've only bought one mixer for myself and that was the Gemini PS626...pretty basic but it did the job so i've not really got anything against Gemini (yet)
Features wise, well i'm open to suggestions really. I mentioned the PS02 as that has a USB channel to link to PC's etc which would be a great benefit. As for the PS04, it has some very good fx features which would be nice to add a little spice to some mixes.
As for budget, hmm around £180..and I know that won't buy me anything that spectacular.
Like I said, i'm open to suggestions so if anyone is able to recommend a good mixer with some nice features for about the price, i'm all ears
Cheers.

I'll second that one. For the price, you're getting a great product.

Vestax are known for making good budget/entry level mixers.

+1
Good home mixer. Only thing I hate about it is that the knobs get a lot of getting used to and the cue volume needs to be louder.

Either the Pioneer DJM 400 or the Numark DXM06 or 09. Also look into the Ecler Nuo 3....though it lacks features...its a pretty standard mixer, but good quality nonetheless.

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone.
Seems like the DXM06 gets the big thumbs up and it looks like a great mixer for the price. Kinda like the DXM09 too..slightly out of budget but i'm sure I could find the extra pennies.
However, i'm still drawn to the Gemini PS04 as the effects sound great on the demo video and it looks so straight forward to use.
Guess I still need a little more thinking time but thanks again for the suggestions..feel free to keep them coming
