It noticed me that in 2007 al lot of (good!) male vocal songs come by, relatively more than other years.

To mention a couple:

rogue wave - eyes (allende intro mix)
Dogzilla - Frozen
The Killers - Read my mind (G&D remix)
Nic Chagall - What You Need

FKN feat. Jahala - Why (Aly and Fila remix)
Carl B ft Breaking Benjamin - The diary of Jane

And I must say, they aren't any worse than female-vocal trance.

Are there others this year, and what causes this phenomenon?

Half of those are remixes of rock tracks, so I wouldn't even call them trance.

No, it's not shit because I don't like it - I don't like it because it's shit. It represents everything that's wrong with trance today. In fact, I'd be hesitant to call it trance at all. It's an extended pop track with a 4/4 beat.

just because artists have made trance before, doesnt make every track of theirs 'trance'. I agree with what Mr.Mystery says, every single track on that is extended rock/pop. I have nothing against vocals in tracks, but if this is the way they are going to be used and paraded as trance, then it's pretty friggin depressing
