from what I understand, Bass Hunter only uses fruity loops and he seems to be selling at least a few CDs here and there so I would say if your making music that people like it doesn't matter what you made it on

Don't use that as an excuse. FL studio is capable of producing proffessional quality music, the only real limitation it has is the competence of it's users.

guyver uses fruity loops and im sure that that plenty of other pro producers wlll use it aswell
Icone (a.k.a Wim Van Gelder) uses it. Even used a lot of sound from the generators that come with the application so you can't even fault them.
I use it and have had 5 releases so for, got 6th coming out soon.
It's all down to your knowledge. Producing is a very steep learning curve and is not something that will sound good overnight. We are talking years of work here. So be prepared to dedicate some time to it.
thanks for the responses, y'all. i only ask because i don't spin (and probably never will) no $ for equipment and no time to learn...just wasn't sure how "accepted" it was to do everything on a computer.
Have a listen to Özgür Can - Changed (Özgürs Second Mix)... I love that song.. Extremely well produced IMO.

Is like all, you can give a Lotus to anyone you know, and they wont win nothing in any challengue, give the same car to a talented driver and you will see results, all is about the person behind, of course, at certain level there will be the need for a better setup, but a talented producer can do almost whatever with a limited setup, FL does the job perfectly for a profesional release.
Kopi =o.
