Re: [REVIEW] Victor Calderone @ Pacha

Ummm, what a night. (From my point of stand that is of course)
Pacha was a human traffic mouse maze. (the VIP was packed up so that I felt like I was standing in middle of a crowded dancefloor) It seemed like a 10 hour loop night of techno and electro from 2am to 12pm while I was there. (One of my friends paid $50 to get in and split an hour later out of that Loop-Hole) Of course he played different songs and all but the ups and downs inbetween that was the iregular thing from the normal flow in his mixes he created at Crobar was a turn down. I am done going to his parties if the era of tribal house Calderone creates so magically is over. (You tell me where he spins tribal next and I am there with my bells on) For awhile though he played some cool techno/ tech-house & electro but he couldn't keep it in a steady flow. May be in given time he might come through with his own cool style of it but wheather it will turn out between Steve Lawler or JP is all up to him with his own twist on the sound of course. Personally I am an old school raver and an experienced trooper when it comes to 12/24 hour techno sets. (may be he needs to listed to some old style NYC techno sets from the rave era) I enjoyed myself, but its old news for me and I am not 15 years old and I am not a fisting juicehead but I am actually there to enjoy tribal house as his regular crowd does but when it comes to Pacha I guess he has to cater to that 'other crowd'. I kind of waited all night for some good tribal but it never came until the last 30 minutes sort of speak so on that note...
with dear love to Calderone tribal...

I was actually considering coming out to this but said fuck it last minute and stayed home. Didnt have to deal with crappy crowd, shit music, ridiculous cover at door. FUCK CLUBS NOWADAYS. Ok, im done.
