the show was a bit disappointing, aside from a few songs. the two guys they had jumping around on stage before TCM came on were pretty bad and were making asses of themselves. TCM's set had zero progression, and after a while I sort of wondered if they had any sense of variety at all. There was a brief break from monotony when they played Busy Child, Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name (remix?), Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up, and Trip Like I Do almost in a row. Then they were back to plodding along the same beat and bass as before for another 40 minutes.
And then the closing track almost made me forgive them, because it is easily my favorite TCM song ever: KEEP HOPE ALIVE
but really, the majority of the music was just boring after a very short time. the crowd was decent for Texas but the music kept things from really going off, by nature of being too homogeneous and not going anywhere. If I had to decide whether to go again, I'd probably just turn up my stereo really loud and play Keep Hope Alive and save myself $20 because without that track I would have been severely disappointed.
