Hey Ya'll,
New mix out. This is my definition/interpretation of what trance is all about. This mix features the darker, techier, acid, and progressive side of trance with a slice of epic/melodic stuff for good measure. These tracks were all very carefully chosen and represent what I feel this amazing yet misunderstood genre is all about. I spent about a week alone formulating the tracklist, the programming, and warping my tracks, and another week recording, tweaking, and editing it. After doing nothing but minimal, techno, and electro mixes this past year, I felt a need to display another side of my interests in EDM and record a trance mix -- where my roots in EDM began. These tunes are older, of course, as most of the new stuff coming out I don't consider "trance". These tunes are from circa 1998 - 2006, with the majority coming from the 2003-06 era, and some oldies thrown in. I really hope you enjoy this mix as much as I have enjoyed compiling and putting it together. Enjoy!
