Lots of potential here...

About midway through, I hear a lot of percussion overlaid with the vocals, which I don't think works very well. I'd just use the vocals there, if possible.

Maybe add a few more effects to that synth I hear after the vocals, I'm thinking specifically of more reverb or a delay or something.

And, needless to say, it could do with a real intro and outro. But considering how quickly you put this together, I have to say:

As a percussionist, I really like the rhythm you got going here. I never actually heard this song before, but it seems pretty good. You wouldn't have happened to used Vanguard VST for some of this song, did you?

BTW, I'm just curious how you got hold of the acappella of this song? Do you just write to the record company?

hah yeah, vanguard

and i don't have the acapella Just eq'ed out the bass/some of the drums. whats left is the vocals, some guitars, and the rhythm
