Hi, I know this is the Portuguese only forum. But I was looking at going to Brazil in February and was wondering if anyone had any pointer's for me. IE...things to check out, party's to go too, anything interesting, I've been reading up on it a bit, but I could always use a local's help.

where are you going exactly in Brazil? Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia? If you want I can give you some very useful hints and websites that can help you during your trip there.

I'm flying into Rio, I think I might work my way up the coast from there. I'm still working on what I want to do from there.

you will need a body guard as far I can tell..... I think nowadays Brazil is not a good country to visit!!!!! not safe!!!

I have an hard time believing the entire country is unsafe.. I'd rather believe in the opinion of the brazilian TAs (if there are still any!) regarding that.

well not all country just the Big cities, I believe that the rest is not dangerous... I think!!!
