coded > 8 Bit Byte - '88 - '92 Techno
Well this has personally taken me an eternity to sort out. I put together an idea of what the mix would play like up to 2 years ago but lacked the inspiration to follow it through till the end.
Such an amazing time to be into the electronic music scene. Just imagine going to these wild dance parties listening to crazy German techno but the general public had no idea what the hell you were into. This was a time when the whole scene was underground and fresh and exciting. I am of course talking about a period of time between 1988-92 when I partied like there was no tomorrow.
The music was at the time amazing and fresh like nothing anybody had heard before. There was of course the Chicago house scene which helped spawn the likes of Beltram and Atkins but on the European continent there was a dynamic scene in Germany as well with some amazing music.
Here are the tracks that I best remember the era. For those who went through this period it will bring back many memories. For those too young at the time it will show you that in the age of Atari/Amiga computers running old school trackers and 8/12 bit atari samplers there was bloody original music coming out.
This is proof positive that a brilliant producer can do more with a basic tracker sequencer than most of us could do on the full blown version of Pro Tools.

Not sure which version it is as I can't remember. Yes it does have some Kraktwerk running through it as does Die Schopfung - Cybex Factor.
Cheers for the feedback.
Truly groundbreaking tunes for their time.

good selection of tracks, some of the mixing was a bit abrupt but the tracks was ravetacular enough for me to look beside that
