Was wondering if anyone has one or knows of people who even have one.
I hear they are extremely rare and expensive.
Apparently they are only made by two guys in Berne.

Yup, they only sell them at certain times of the year. There is a waiting list for them and they won't allow you to buy many. Check the prices on USA ebay - going in some cases for $8000.

Also you have to be pretty good at percussion playing and they only do one key per drum, so for a different key, you need to buy another drum...

You not wrong, you just clearly done know the meaning of the word 'key' and you think he means one 'note' when he doesnt...

scale and key are in a way the same thing. an A major scale is in the key of A major. a B major scale is in the key of B major...and so on. the key defines what notes are going to be in the scale.

Watching a few videos of people playing it sounds like its always the same tune lol the resonance sound is amazing though - perfect for some deep trance.
