Happy Flange - Its pretty nice but sounds kind of dry and that bassline gets too repetitive, try not to have it running through out the whole track.

New Beat Demo - Nice, but I'd keep the bass mono.

Water Techno - I like this one alot, reminds me of stuff like Lucio Aquilina - Magic M

Ambient Trance - Reveerb is too bright on the lead for my taste. Also try adding some delay to the synths.

Hardstyle - Sounds nice, but I'm not sure if those 2 synths go well one right after another.

Overall I like your tracks a lot, nice work

i think your right on target for my worries with happy flange. what would you recomend to wet it up? i had a hard time finding a solution for a pad that would fit nicely. for new beat - i like the stereo bass because it sounds a little fuller. in mono it feels too dull. thanks for the analysis of all tracks... i was just asking about the first i really like water techno too. i made that song using a recording of water from my sink and pitch shifted and time stretched it way down. the synth is an access virus. the poppy sounds are tuned to the song 808 toms. i dont know what the influence for that song was, i was just feeling really creative. i dont listen to much techno but i might start down that path a little more. oh and the bass kick is sampled from a downtempo aquasky song and equed and other shit a lot. kinda random place to get a kick for a technoish song but i liked it. as for hardstyle and some of the bottom ones, i made that track like 4 years ago haha. ive been done with it for a while. im mostly concerned with the first two as the other songs arent even on my working computer anymore.

thanks a lot for the feed back man

checked out this guy Lucio Aquilina guy. that track is pretty sweet. hey im italian too, maybe theres a connection...haha. ive really been considering moving more towards the techno/minimal side of things lately. i think its impossible to achieve the sounds that all the big producers within trance are getting these days without a bunch of studio help and super expensive gear. minimal/techno is more about if you can produce well with what youve got and delves more in to analog style sound design, which i love. i love trance but im friggin tired of trying to make tracks that live up to an ideal set by some rich guy in miami who has his tracks made for him.

to me, almost, impossible. i dont have the patience to sit there for days and weeks and years to make my music sound "pro." id rather just make music and hope someday my production skill will catch up.

If you dont have patience you probably wont last too long. You can create any sound you like. No two synths will sound identical but you can create very similar results.

As you say you dont mind making music, and hope you improve, well you will probably create your own sound along the way, and wont need to replicate the big producer sounds. After all, its all good making a track sound like a tiesto track but its wont stand out as much as a fesh new sound.

That said if you have your own sound you dont have to waste time copying another, as you probably know it can be time consuming trying to replicate a sound you've heard somewhere else. Although i'm not saying replicating sounds is wrong in anyway niether

i can make sounds i like. if i hear a sound in my head i can create it. id say the sound design i do know is my strong point. 4 years of twistin knobs. that being said its obvious that most of my synths sound basic. thats cause i normally like to get in to the music aspect and not spend days trying to perfect my bass, lead, or whatever patch. all the synths from every song on my myspace page started out with the silly init patch. to me my music sounds good, but compared to the "pro" standard they arent up to par...yet. after examining the first track on my myspace, what would you say it lacks as far as production? keep in mind uploading to myspace kills the highs so its a bit muddier than it really is.

thanks for the feedback so far guys!

Can you provide a link to download a high quality mp3 of it? Rapidshare or something?

I dont really like how the bassline suonds overall. Its kind of dry and thin, little impact. Does it have a lot of chorus on it?
Also try to add some more interesting transitions.

How about a midi
