just kevin(chicago/vegas/la) - he switches between bass and guitar while playing drum machines and singing. he sounds like a dj, but he's actually playing it all himself. after single-handedly changing the rules of how electronic music should be presented, he forces djs to bring it to a whole new level. with his roots in the chicago underground jk held 2 weekly residencies in chicago, and played shows throughout the mid-west and east coast. continuing his never ending quest for musical dominance, kevin moved to la to spread the word in the west. after playing his first west coast show at the end up in san francisco, he has progressed quickly and made himself known throughout the la club scene, recently playing live in the main room at circus disco. just kevin lives the music, and people can see that he is one of the most innovative and talented artists in the club scene all together. recently playing the 6-string on jason tyler's new album, and keoki's new album, kevin is becoming a major influence in clubland. when just kevin walks out on the stage, you know you're in for a slammin party.
cache(irl/usa) - originally from ireland and now living in los angeles, cache left a gaping hole in ireland's music scene, and is now one of the most exciting, entertaining talents in la. cache plays keys and sings for autonomous unit. cache has managed to make quite the name for himself, producing and dj'ing around los angeles, running several popular club nights around town and also being involved with numerous other music related projects. as a songwriter, cache uses his real life travels, european upbringing, and his past ten years in los angeles to create catchy, unique and powerful lyrics. he'll make you dance, he'll make you think (and he'll make you drink!), cache lives with a passion for life and music and a moment spent in his company only affirms him as one of la's brightest musical hopes.
adamk (fl, la) adam provides a musical backbone of the highest degree. holding down a studio engineering position as well as a production degrees from berkelee, adam's drumming can only be described in one word 'phenomenal'. his presence behind the drums anchors autonomous unit while at the same time allowing jk and cache the freedom to explore, progress and advance that special autonomous unit sound.
