Looks like this is from some place in Indian if not some third world country. I doubt parents will get arrested if the child is not dead. It is pretty messed up to see, but it also proves something else. It shows that we don't really know fear from birth...it's instilled in us by grown ups

cool your jets guys. They have removed all the venom/poison and whatever glands that possess the venom from the Cobra. This is done all the time over there and nothing ever happens.

I figured as much. Either way not too many people around here would let their infant play with a snake can pose a threat no matter if it's drained of it's venom.

The thing is though is that its a damn Cobra, so the kid wont be afraid of other ones later and get bit...

oh no yeah i agree with you guys whole heartedly. i would never put my baby in front of a snake. shit my wife would kill me. i'm just saying it's probably pretty common to run into them over there so I'm sure they expose them to the cobra so they know how to deal with them.

then again it's our customs vs theirs.

I'm sure they might find some of the shit we do to be ridiculous.

no. fangs, venom/poison and venom/poison glands were removed.

Venom or no venom, that's makes me cringe to watch, and I could never think of doing that to my child......
